OUTSTANDING food!. In my opinion, this restaurant has the best tasting food anywhere in Modesto. The only place that competes in terms of food excellence is Italia Bella. Absolutely fantastic! They're menu has everything and more that you would expect from a steakhouse. Traditional steakhouse dishes, plus mexican, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. And, their prices are truly reasonable... unlike the big-name restaurants.

Cons:

1. The place is setup for live music. if you go on a night where they are playing live music, don't expect to be able to hear your dinner companions. Even "light" music combined with dinner conversations is EXCEPTIONALLY loud. When live music is not being performed, the restaurant echos, making conversations a bit odd... because you know that everyone can hear.

2. They do not cater to your diet or special requests without a $1.99 for substitutes. Really?! That's too much. Especially if what you're substituting is a cheaper alternative. For example, if I want to get a house salad instead of a baked potato, you shouldn't charge me the extra money. That's insane.

Note: If their food was just "ok" or "so-so", the restaurant would receive a 1-star rating from me because of the cons I've listed. Given that their food is VERY good, they get 4-stars. It's really that good!

I hope the owner(s) really cherish their cook(s)... because they do a fantastic job.
