Fantastic SUSHI!!!. I love SUSHI GARDEN it is the best place in Modesto to get sushi and I go to Japan Town monthly. Sushi Garden is the closest to Japan Town or Japan that we have found in several years of living in the central valley. GO, you will not be disappointed! GREAT FOOD!!

OVERRATED!. Nice ambiance and decent service. Not so good on the rolls and non-sushi foods. If you want good Japanese food at a much better price, go to Tokyo Express.

Good Fresh Sushi. The Sushi Garden is a casual dining experience when you are in the mood for good sushi. The two rolls that I had were excellent and very flavorful. The service was ok and the sushi chefs were very friendly. The price point was average for a sushi house. I will definitely go back again.

great sushi. I have been to every sushi restaurant here in Modesto, and I have to say that sushi garden is the best! The sushi is fresh, the service is great. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves sushi

Best Sushi In the Valley!. This restaurant is simply wonderful. We try to make it there two Fridays a month or so. The Sushi is the freshest around, and the service has been very consistant and a great experience everytime. Friday & Saturdays there is usually a wait but really worth waiting for!!

Ambiance is perfect for a date, however this place is always busy. Servers are friendly and courtious. Very clean and stylish dining. Go check it out, if your a sushi loving person, you will return again and again like we do.

Best Sushi in Modesto. For the Modesto area the sushi is surprisingly good. Best in the area in my opinion. Yes, it does get crowded, and timely seating is a problem at times. My other big complaint is that the restaurant is not open on Sundays or for lunch on Saturday. The restaurant itself is clean and modern looking. The service is good and the waitresses helpful and attractive. The prices are reasonable, but expect to pay $4-6 for each order of nigiri. The occasionally have some nice specials as well.

Really good sushi!. I have been to Sushi Garden 4-5 times now and each time was a great experience! The ambiance is wonderful and service is good as well. For the real deal, the sushi. I've been to three other sushi restaurants around town and still find Sushi Garden to rank one of the best so far. Price is reasonable (like any other place); however, seating is not quick if there are a lot of people waiting. It's a fantastic place to visit if your in the mood for sushi, but they do have other options on their menu (Udon, rice meals, etc) I definitely recommend.
