Rude Staff and Unwillingness to Help.
We had a billing mixed up and the admin staff refused to honor a scheduled appointment for our premature son even after we had offered to pay out of pocket. Yes, they cancelled the appointment because their online system did not show that my newborn had been added to my insurance, Aetna. The mixed-up was resolved with Aetna but the admin staff made us just over hoops to prove that it was resolved. Admin staff needs to be taught customer service and it seems if you become a potential issue, the billing stafff has the authority to cancel doctor's appointments. Unethical behavior and potential for mal practice if the refusal to honor a scheduled visit resulted in harm.
